Children and grandchildren make the most difference in my life. I’ve been troubled by my sister’s health and on a particularly bad morning my granddaughter calls out of the blue and says she’s picking me up after work for dinner and gossip. Pretty funny, but she and her brother did so and afterward we went to buy pots and plants which she immediately repotted for me that evening. They are already starting to bloom! I cannot explain what a difference they make in my mood and outlook. She is the plant guru in the family and a riot😆

I for indomitable for this small beauty. As the snow fell yesterday morning in cold temperatures, she burst forth into the world. A definite sign of hope I am enjoying immensely, thanks to my granddaughter. She planted bulbs in pots in my apartment💓🥰🥳

H for happiness, as in birthdays this month for a few in my family. On Monday we will make a cake for one–Angel food frosted with whipped cream and decorated with fresh strawberries–yum–pretty, delicious and light in calories. It’s been a while since I’ve made a cake, so looking forward to it.
