A sliver of light flashed as she lit the match. Her plans to commit the crime and of course she never thought it a crime, had changed in the last few minutes. The hours which she had spent on figuring out how to do it were about to drive her crazy when suddenly a breath of clarity came to her. She decided not to mail the written note after all, she would burn it instead. As the fireplace clock sent it’s midnight chime, she watched the ashes fall and plunged the knife to her heart.

Talking to their neighbors

If highly trained, a treat

Takes a lot of strength

Starting at their feet.

With practice and their stature

Planted firmly on high ground

Performing mountain yodel calls

You’ll hear a unique sound.
