Settling in the recliner, trying awkwardly to put her feet up, Sara thought, I don’t know why I’m struggling to do this, it seems the swelling doesn’t go down. Every day writing and the inspiration dwindling, Sara just doesn’t know if it’s worth it. Her schedule doesn’t change, in fact to take the necessary medicines, shaking them into her palm is so repetitive Sara wonders if she’d done it already and doesn’t want to double the doses. The cage of constant doing the same actions day and night keeps her wondering if she’s losing her cognizance. She lies back, and turns on the television to mindlessly watch a show she’s already watched.
