Desperation raises its hand
A plea from one of a common man
Thought support was there but cannot stand
Not where she lives in this land
Land of freedom, land of choice
Turns out that’s only someone’s voice
No truth, no freedom for this one
She bundles up away from the sun
She’s on a path, with no help done
Women have no rights she finds
Tries accepting her life in binds
Then choosing her fate, raising one exhausted hand
Slides into the deep, only death can she plan.
