FOWC: knot

This is a Celtic knot. “The meaning of this Celtic Knot is that with no beginning and no end, it represents unity and eternal spiritual life. The symbols line interweaves through the circle in an unbroken flow.” I think we need these today. Here is one of my favorites.

“According to most historians, interlaced knot patterns first started making appearances around the 3rd and 4th centuries C.E. and can be found in many cultures around the world—they are not proprietary to the Celtic knots are believed to symbolize the interconnectedness of life and eternity, though specific types of patterns and knots do have unique meanings in addition to that.”
