Sunday Photo Fiction

This is how it looks today

No longer vibrant green

But that is how I remember you

Long fall days dreaming on benches

Feet shifting pine fronds around, avoiding

Speaking of the separation to come.

I often visit here

It used to be colorful,

Even the browns were green.

Now everything in my world is monotoned.
