Carrot Ranch Flash Fiction – Freaky Freddie

Did I read it right or fail to listen?

The Prompt this week is “man glisten”?

Brings only one thing to my head

Oiled body builder by name of Fred.

Fred took his body seriously

Mirrored image he deliriously

Gazed upon without remorse

Waiting for someone to endorse.

After every workout planned

Muscled arms down to his hands

Were scrutinized with eager eyes

No indentation was disguised.

Took pride in every single bump

Worked them to a healthy lump

Of tissue, vein and tendon there

Watching his exercise with care

Narcissism his constant friend

Was winning in the end.
