Robert Plant wrote the lyrics, which were a response to critics who claimed their previous album, Led Zeppelin III, wasn’t really rock and roll. Led Zeppelin III had more of an acoustic folk sound, and Plant wanted to prove they could still rock out.
This was the first Led Zeppelin song used in a commercial. Cadillac used it to kick off a new advertising campaign in 2002 with the tagline “Breakthrough.” The company was going for a hip, new image, since their audience was slowly dying off. The spots aired for the first time on the Super Bowl, and sales rose 16% the next year.
The inexperienced equestrian rode into the bog soil, profuse in the woods; the rider was not familiar with the area. Her horse became instantly stuck in the mud. No matter the strength of muscle in the horse’s legs, she was mired until a crane was able to lift her. In the meantime a veterinarian had been summoned to sedate her so she wouldn’t damage herself further.

It was brought to my attention that “Sweet Home Chicago” should have been “Sweet Home Alabama” which also has a memorable intro, but no. Here it is, totally different genre.

Are you utterly minimalistic in your lifestyle, an absolute clutterer hoarder, or just messy? Since I live by myself, I am organized and not messy. I am however, clumsy and do create a mess from time to time.
Do you prefer to sit on a chair, cushion, bench, floor or something else for comfort and which? When I moved into this new complex my daughter encouraged me to get a small recliner and it takes off pressure of legs always hanging down in a wheelchair.
What is the most challenging part of your writing process? Trying to keep it fresh.
Do you think you are an addictive or non-addictive personality? I have no doubts—I am an addictive personality. It used to be food and now it is audio books😂
Do you feel in any way, shape or form threatened by the arrival of AI [Artificial Intelligence] opportunities or welcome the progression into your life with ease? I do not welcome it. Especially our young people are already addicted to electronics, cel phones and video games. How can we hope to bring people together when each new interpretation of communication puts us all further apart?
What subjects or topics inspire you to create the most concerning your writing? All.
When was the last time you walked through a graveyard? I rolled through a graveyard in 2014 for Memorial Day in CO.
What are your top five favourite flowers? Roses, daffodils, violets, pansies, and honeysuckle.
What would you say would be your writing quirk? Being myself.
M for mermaid. In folklore, a mermaid is an aquatic creature with the head and upper body of a female human and the tail of a fish. Mermaids appear in the folklore of many cultures worldwide, including Europe, Asia, and Africa. Mermaids are sometimes associated with perilous events such as floods, storms, shipwrecks, and drownings. In Greek mythology, mermaids were often referred to as sirens. The beautiful creatures were sometimes depicted as being half bird also, but the ones that are most popular in myths were beautiful women with fish tails. As beautiful as these sirens were, they were not always the nicest creatures.
