According to the Merriam Webster site:

This fun sounding word is probably one of the reasons people just can’t accept each other. I think Trump and his followers may have grown up with this condition. An NPR report:

Would you care to dance now seems ironic
Even listening together to something symphonic
Is against the rules today,
No concerts to hear them play
The instruments to play the beat
Gathering dust at their feet
Don’t give up, you can always switch and sway
On your own to stay fit with a paso doble!
More than a tango, the dance, quite a feat
Be the matador or bull, and move those feet!

He hoped
He prayed
He asked for help
He bowed to the powers above
He promised undying love
He waited
And then it came:
The sign that was promised.

Think I need a writing squad
Finding nothing here is odd
The usual words I understand
Right now they all seem out of hand
Last night I thought of many
W words but didn’t use any
I think maybe my A to Z is done
When it seems more of a job than something fun.

Old and new
A world of contradiction
Keep the memories close
Build new constructions
But never forget the good times.

Finally following her dreams, Molly moved to the country, far from the highway bluster, into a cottage surrounded by verdant grass and lovely trees. She wanted time for herself, and a break from the steel surroundings of the city.
Molly was an editor with a good job, but longed for the romance calm of nature. With this time she planned to write, taking full advantage of the quiet.
Sipping a smooth creamy coffee in a garden chair, she watched indigo birds play in a puddle from the last evening’s rain. It is so fresh here, she thought and my hope is to refresh my mind as well.
There are many animated movies I enjoy as an adult and “How to Train Your Dragon” is definitely one of them. I think you will too.

It’s baseball time and even if you can’t watch a game, there are some very good movies about it. “Bull Durham” is one I watched this weekend. One of the best scenes is the coach giving a “pep talk”, explaining the basics: “Baseball is a simple game. You throw the ball–you hit the ball–you catch the ball. Got it?” 😄

Pens and pencils I have many
Inspiration, have not any
Warm without, cold within
Comforter pulled to my chin
Tablet sits wanting vision
Not to write is my decision
Fires not lighting, burner down
While reading poems well renown
I wonder if their handy muse
Also had times unused
Rising for the coffee urge
Hope inaction it will purge.
