FFftPP 2-12-20 – “There’s a Good Dog”

“What has he found now, George? I hope it’s nothing dangerous! Remember last week he brought a huge dead rat onto the front porch?”

“No worries my dear. This is an indestructible toy I bought at Pet Playthings, that new store, last week. Instead of a sharp possibly dangerous stick, you can throw this instead. He won’t know that it’s not a stick and retrieve it as such.”

Buddy the dog always wanted to please his master, George. Buddy longed for a good chew on a sapling branch or a hearty beef knuckle, but he would tolerate this foul tasting plastic device for a few more days. Then he will bury it somewhere it couldn’t be found, maybe alongside those plastic bones that are supposed to make his breath smell nice.
