They say time is fleeting and the older you get the more quickly time passes. Tell that to a mother or dad of three, all under the age of four and you will probably get an argument.
The busyness of a young mother/dad is incomparable. The watching, the playing, the washing, the drying, the diaper changes, bathing, bottles to sanitize, food preparation, and maybe if a miracle happens, they will all take a nap at the same time, preferably lasting at least an hour.
This is the golden time when they can put their feet up? Have you ever seen that? That hour will be spent preparing the next meal, snacks, taking a shower, folding laundry, writing a grocery list, making beds, filling or emptying the dishwasher, dusting, mopping. . .anything else you can’t do while the three are “up”.
When you think you have a busy day and time is passing fast, think of these parents. If you’ve been there as I have and survived? More power to you!👍🏻🤓. And for the record, I wish I could do it all again.
