B for boys. I recently logged in to my old high school website and looked up, you guessed it, my first crush. Of course he has aged but still has that great smile I was attracted to. He has also fought cancer, has grandchildren and also lost his spouse, so we have things in common. My curiosity piqued, I left a message for him saying I remember he was my first crush. Bold, wasn’t it? π I never really feel as old as I am, that is until I see my same aged friends. Time certainly marches on.
I’ve tried to find my first crush as well but that was from grammar school and I haven’t been able to find anything.

I was one of many who loved the first boy I was attracted to, but he liked my friend at sixteen. We grew up as neighbors.

I think when you’re over 40 it is permission to risk everything. π

I periodically check in on former classmates and people from my past. I donβt message anyone, though. I just like to see how people are doing.
