Swimmersweek Prompt: Fight

“Do not go gentle into that good night” is a poem in the form of a villanelle, and the most famous work of Welsh poet Dylan Thomas.

Fight the good fight” also came to mind, because my 83 year old sister is a fighter, a brilliant, loving, quiet woman I greatly admire.

I am posting a couple of excerpts from my sister’s email this morning. I hope it gives you a chuckle as it did me. The day before this, we were discussing the term numbhead which I think my kids used when they were little. Knothead was a term our dad used.
