Monday………..again. Yes, discouraged after just ordering checks from my bank to the tune of $30.00. What? This bank also assesses a fee of $80.00 for an overdraft when all they could do is push a button telling the gas company to resubmit the next day after my check goes in. A lousy button! It seems all my big bills come on the first. I get paid in the middle of the month. Yuck! But thirty dollars for checks is a large fee. So “onward and upward” as C.S. Lewis said, because, do I have a choice?

Time for‘s Share Your World questions and here they are:

1. Seriously? Right at this time in our family we could use an unlimited supply of washingtons, jeffersons, lincolns, hamiltons, jacksons, grants, benjamins, and if you have any of these stored in a closet somewhere: mckinleys, clevelands, madisons, chases, wilsons–just being the antiques they are, no problem! I could put them to good use.πŸ˜„πŸ˜³πŸ˜‚

2. Teleportation, definitely. Easy peasy, no lines, no tickets, no bags, no security check wands, no removing your shoes or having your artificial knee buzz, no tightly arranged seating, no kids constantly kicking the back of your seat, no sitting in a cramped hot space with no air circulation on the tarmac for whatever reason hoping it’s not something mechanical under your feet, no guy next to you using the barf bag, no two inch bathroom that smells and you can’t turn around in, no bland food served on a bland plate, in a bland wrapping you can’t open–definitely teleportation.

3. Snows. You can’t always get out of the heat, but you can find ways to bundle up and get warm. Besides, snow is clean, white, soft, and beautiful.

Snarky answers all this week. But I am having a good Monday despite the bank. Thanks for reading. Despite my temporary attitude, thank you again.

Y’all come back now, ya hear?

Okay, edit time, forgot the thankful part. And that’s important! I’m thankful I have three fathers to love for Fathers Day, my oldest son, my son in law and his father. All number ones in my book!πŸ‘πŸ»β€οΈ And looking forward? I have to say spending out of school time with the family.πŸ’™πŸ’œπŸ’šπŸ’›

  1. overdraft protection Cheryl. Small one time fee for peace of mind. Get checks through any place other than a bank. try checksunlimited. com or walmart. they have check printing. cheapo.

  2. My bank charges $35 per overdraft and one time I didn’t know I was overdrawn and got six! By complaining enough I got them down to only charging me for three. It was only recently that I took off the overdraft coverage on my accounts. The peace of mind is worth a possible late fee.
