Life is what you make it.

Linda’s Prompt for today is joint . Instead of writing about arthritic limbs, take a minute and let them dance to this:

Buds
Seek warmth
Open slowly
Take in sunlight
Breathe fresh spring air
Embrace their atmosphere as
Petals open to display their beauty.

Management of the garden had fallen on the head of the family, Grampa Brown. He always followed a productive daily schedule and since the rest of the family had come down with an illness, it was up to him to take charge. While the family rested in quarantine, he jumped on the chance to plant some of his favorites in the garden space. Broccoli, brussells sprouts, cabbage, spinach and beets ruled the day–none of which were the family favorites.

The station reminded her of some great creature, its constant machine whir breathing around her as she worked. It was against the rules of course, but Mary was tired of hearing her children complain about being cooped up at home. Since her job was one of the essentials, she decided to take them to work with her. Mary was the only one who worked in this section of the factory and decided it would be a needed distraction for her kids. As they entered the colorful room, they exclaimed, “Wow, this is better than McDonalds!”
From 2018, FFfAW and the Secret Keeper:

“It’s perfect! It’s just what we need for our coffee shop!” Joe was glad the light was behind the structure for her first view of their new home. Mary was skeptical, hoping for a more established yard, even a tree would have been nice, she thought, but didn’t want to discourage Joe on first look.
The dry surroundings and gray sky gave Mary a slight feeling of foreboding. Joe’s taste was a bit different than hers. “Look! It’s even got a sign board out front already! This is going to be great! We’re going to be rich!”
Mary hesitantly walked inside and immediately brightened. The interior was cozy looking, had a fireplace and a few tables and chairs. The small kitchen needed help, but that was her specialty. Joe’s specialty was knowing Mary and fulfilling her dream.

Feeling frisky
Not risqué
Felt empowered
For only a day
Wrote a few haikus, nothing much
Quick little things about love and such
Bravery overtook my mind
Submitted them to be published in kind
Sent them off quickly without a care
Now seeing them published is quite a scare
As usual I didn’t think
Before putting my mind to ink
Now it’s out there for all to see
I guess what will be will be
Seeing it myself is intimidating
Should have edited better, oh it is grating!
At least I did it, took the plunge
Wonder if it can be expunged?

When you said let’s go for a tropical retreat, I had no idea this is what you meant!
It’s relaxing, just go with it!
A mud bath is one thing, but this is taking it a little too far. . .I feel like we’re taking roots!
Uh, George, is that your hand? George?

Crawling under the window sills, quietly, trying not to make a sound, scraping knees on the rough boards, only a few feet more to the door, suddenly a crack and gust of wind behind her.
“Where do you think you’re going?”
