The sky held the image of a huge ghost-like mouth accompanied by the boom of thunder. I was never afraid of thunder before but this spring the storms seemed louder and even ominous. Birds fluttered away from their nests to take cover in the bushes. Rodents were scuffling to find a sheltering hole to crawl into. As I hurried inside my door at last, my temples were bursting, my steps weaving and I plopped down on the nearest chair. The air was thick with unexplainable fear. I think I’ve been reading too many Stephen King stories!

Do you prefer Apple or Android?
Windows OS or MacOS?
What do you wish that you would have placed in a time capsule 15+ years ago to have access to now?
When you think of the what the world will look like 50 years from now, what does that future look like through your eyes? Go as sci-fi and/or fantasy as you would like and ramble on however you wish to ramble 🙂
An app I like on my iPad is Boy Howdy Free Jigsaw Puzzles. No ads and lovely pics to choose from.
I like Apple for its compatibility with iPad and iPhone. Before I had this phone I loved my Samsung Android which had some features I miss, such as the bottom clear all tab and the backup feature.
I have no idea but probably basically the same with less good air, less animals and plant life, and worse radical personalities.
Her pleasing smile, was beautifully bathed in the glow of the sun. My query was on the tip of my tongue but could I actually fulfill my intentions? We took off our sandals and walked along the edge of the salt water. I finally took her palm in mine and asked the most important question I would ever ask.
“Gonna cook up a messastuff”, Grammie said with determination. “Them mourners’ll be comin’, gotta be ready!” Grammie got out all the pots, banging them down on the stove. “I’ll help, where’s the recipe!” “Huh?” She laughed.
Kiss me now, kiss me with passion — kiss me as if this were to be our very last night. Kiss me now, kiss me with passion — for you I may nevermore see once past early light.
I want to hold you so closely, look into your eyes to find you mirroring me. I’m sure dawn will find me lonely cast away so far behind where you then will be.
Kiss me now kiss me with passion — fearing tomorrow I’ll lose you past dawn’s early light; — and I may forever lose you, — forever lose you. — — —
Kiss me now, kiss me with passion — kiss me as if this were to be our very last night. Kiss me now, kiss me with passion — for you I may never-more see once past early light.
I’ve decided the real Inspector Gadget lives down the hall. My daughter and I were getting into my door when he stopped and enlightened us on the latest goings-on in the building.
Apparently he had his apartment burgled and wanted to warn me about it. He told the mgr they needed security cameras in the halls like the ones outside. He then went on to describe all the devices he has in and outside his apartment. Hidden cameras, motion detectors, etc. I can’t remember all of them!
I said I really don’t have any valuables, at which point he said loudly “your identity!” It was almost laughable because he was SO serious! I tried to add humor by saying so I need to put my ID and bank card under my mattress? He did not think that funny and then said “I have insurance on all my personal data, etc, and you should too!”
I could go on telling you tales: he told of the car in the parking lot that had the catalytic converter stolen in a fifteen minute theft or… who knew they contain platinum and sell on the black market for thousands of dollars?
I don’t have a car any longer and I can’t drive. I’m sure there’s no c c on my scooter so guess I’m safe. I told my daughter when we finally got inside that if I’m ever in trouble I know who to go to for help. I’m sure he has a few weapons in his place also.
