All stars are not in the sky above
I’m writing about my love
A singsongy rhyme you might despise
As I extoll on my lover’s eyes
Deep and purposeful they sometimes seem
Set my heart into trembling themes
The light gray
Rules my day.

Less than 1% of the world population have gray eyes.

The Sunday Whirl

Only a minute bit of the compressed air was released, but her vision blurred instantly. A bright glow shown all around her body and she was shaky. She tried reading the lines they provided to determine mental status but only a strip of the sentences was legible. Desperate to succeed, she firmly gripped the paper closer, then felt the ground give way—a switch of another bright light glared, and she disappeared. The doctors at the lab were safely cordoned off while the time travel experiment was halfway completed. Now they only had to wait ten minutes when hopefully their companion would return.

Share Your World 6th February

1. I do not remember vacations but we would go camping sometimes. After graduating from high school, my dad, mom and aunt and I traveled by pickup camper—just as crowded as you imagine, to the west from VT to see where my dad and his sister grew up.

2. I loved camping when kids were smaller. We had some fun times! We also traveled the US as a young family because grandparents were 2000 miles apart.

3. As I’ve said before, our trip to Hawaii for two weeks was the ultimate vacation. No cel phones back then, no tablets and no tv. Our kids were 11, 9, 8.

4. No. However, I did go to some conventions with my husband for his work and enjoyed them immensely; favorites were LA and San Francisco.

As usual I am grateful for my loving helpful family❤️

Six Sentence Story

Secretly dreaming of a lasting existence, a bubble glides on warm breath. Fragile as a soapy sphere, floating above the humdrum, she maintains an elusive vision. “Keeping my head above water” she replies to inquisitive friends as they ask how she is today. Of course she has the answer to their question but in truth they don’t want to know. Losing herself to mourning wouldn’t do, so she adjusts her rainbow colored scarf and maintains. She keeps floating, above reality, not wanting the bubble to burst.

Rory’s Morning Dawdle

1. I learned more about people around the world and love that!
2. Please just go to sleep.
3. I think the choices are many if you listen to elected members of congress and of course Trump provides ample fodder.
4. I can move about my new apartment with ease since I have more open space. However so-called handicapped apartments should have lowered shelving. Try doing everything sitting in a chair in your kitchen 😂

Stay warm🥶
