From The New York Times:

Street lamps watch as I search for you. The mist rolls in, adding to the melancholy. Its grey foggy dampness only supplicate my feelings of despair.
I never heard your voice, I didn’t know. If only you had called, I might have convinced you, saved you. Can I still, are you here, where are you?
Please don’t leave, don’t leave in this desperate place. Don’t leave me. I can, I will, make it better. I can help you, please wait, give me a chance to try.

I’m so sorry to realize I did not choose three people to pass this on, so please, anyone who would like to participate, please join in! And follow the rules. (I could try to blame this on my phone which is difficult to blog on, but no one likes excuses).

Sorry about that, Rory

Now there’s a word, semantics
Sometimes absurd
If uttered by critics or non romantics.
The use of words is fun I say
Why, I use them everyday!
Meanings sometimes misconstrued
Purposely, I often use
A word that has another meaning
While my nonsense I am streaming.
It’s all in fun, well usually. . .
I bungle them quite casually
Semantics scholars get a bit stiff
And might tend to cause a riff
With well intended writers here
I say, live and let live, you’re not puppeteers.

I stand there against the wind, hair flying, chilling my bones, making the world around me cold and icy blue.
I remember another time, a warm sunny day, waves tickling my sandy feet, all happiness expected to last, that dreamlike state I was in when I loved you and you loved me. We ran along, hand in hand, smiling, laughing, you threatening to dunk me in the surf.
Now I wonder where you are, where I am, for the warmth disappeared, the sun hides, and the sand cold and unyielding. I still stand here from time to time, wishing. Perhaps if I stand here long enough, things will change and I will see you running towards me with the sun streaming on your back, sand flying behind your steps. I wish it.

Creativity is that nagging itch you have to scratch.
Creativity is good if you have the time to use it.
A mountain weighs more than a molehill, so don’t make a big thing out if it.
If the wheel had not been invented, we would be a lot healthier.
Too many for me to read.
I rarely wear shoes but “after-playing- soccer-feet” definitely need covering.
All three make a great author.
Every being is born with creativity – have you been around any toddlers lately?
Banjo eyes, a name attached to my sister as a child wearing glasses.
Bait….jk.
You really want to know? No you don’t.
Probably, since I live in prarie land.
An earthquake.
Of the people, by the people, for the people as was originally stated in the Gettysburg Address.
What you said, in the eyes. You can imagine whatever you see in good ways or bad ways. It is your choice.
We are all self aware, we just don’t want to admit it. The others come with living your life, not really choices.

The apex of the problems we face here in the US, are a direct result of our own making such as these found on Wikipedia:

For a list of President Trump’s executive orders so far:
I think Mother Nature’s memory is failing. She forgot it’s May…

It’s hard to watch. I felt like crying watching this woman’s frustration, and her family’s. Everyone should watch “Bleed Out”, a documentary on HBO now.

These are quotes about the film:

I had to laugh reading this Prompt. My first thought was Dudley Do Right, who was a bumbler, but always forthright in his efforts to save the world. One reason I laughed of course was because Trump always comes to mind when thinking of honest, valued people and what a complete opposite he is. Dudley, think about running in 2020! Oh that’s right, you’re not a US citizen. Darn!
