As I was posting my Fandango’s Flashback post, and at other times lately, this thing appears and makes it difficult to see what I’m writing as the keyboard stays in the way and then lines. Does anyone know how to permanently get rid of whatever the hell it is?
If I stay very quiet under this tree they won’t suspect a thing. Well, I am a feline after all, so they might suspect, but they won’t be able to prove anything. That’s why it’s so nice having a dog in the family. They’re so big and clumsy, they always get the blame.
I see the target. When everyone leaves the room, I’ll make my move. I’m surprised they put those fronds in the Christmas arrangement in the first place. I do love them. They are furry and flop around like a squirrel’s tail, and squirrels are so much fun to chase.
Okay, Barney just lumbered in and there’s not a human in sight! Perfect! (Sneaking, sneaking, jump!) I grab a couple of fronds and escape to my cushion. I stretch out and pretend I’m asleep.
This song was originally written by Charles Hart, an English lyricist, librettist and songwriter best known for his work on The Phantom of the Opera (Music of the Night)as well as a number of other musicals and operas for both stage and television.
