Norman certainly entertained
Most works you could explain
And if you wish to find the secrets on this art endowed
Visit the url ^^^as it’s vowed
To list the most obvious ones
A fun activity for most everyone.
I found this looking for April quotes
Couldn’t possibly be more than he notes
Either way it’s got my vote
For some April humor which he promotes.

One-Liner Wednesday – A what kind of ritual?

For today’s Poetics, I would like you to write in the style of Maggie Smith and incorporate conversational mode of address in your poems. Pour out the first thought, the first thing that comes to mind and let the words take you forward. I thought Vermont had the most beauty, trees and green everywhere,
rolling hills and even mountains to ski, until I landed at the Denver airport
on my way to the Colorado western slope and looked down upon the Rockies,
huge jagged slightly snow covered peaks sitting there even majestically,
suddenly I was alive in my childhood’s books, or a dream sequence,
high and beautiful, spreading north and south, never ending and every pattern and hue of soil stretched like a huge quilt running through to meet them.

dVerse Poetics – Maggie Smith and Conversational Mode of Address
This week’s Story Starter teaser is: It was supposed to be a fun hike through the woods, but none of them could have imagined what it would become. First off, Larry, the guy no one wants to invite, but he’s Sherry’s brother and there’s no choice and just like always, he wears the wrong shoes and ends up whining immediately.
Luckily I brought EarPods but then Joe the diehard naturalist gave me such a hard time I had to pocket them and enjoy “nature”. Joe’s a good guy and he planned the entire outing.
Having previously endured the hikes Joe planned, we started conditioning ourselves a month beforehand. Rope bridges, repelling off medium height cliffs, quicksand traps, traipsing through bear infested areas and of course the menu included only what you could find “on the road”. No actual roadkill was allowed. Dang it. I tried that the first hike with Joe and everyone thought it was mean of me trying to hit rabbits on the way to the first campsite.
Along with the above adventures a river rafting event which was probably the easiest of the agenda, but I knew how to swim. A near fatal disaster occurred as one of the newbies immediately fell out of the boat and ended up with a concussion when he was propelled into a boulder. Joe of course, had all the necessary medical stuff and the 911 crew answered right away.
All in all not a bad trip. I have to say we all made it, even Larry.

The thing I liked about this video was such a mild soft voice coming from a rougher looking person. The little boy really wants to dance☺️Another thing I enjoy with the street performers are the reactions of the “audience”. Very cool!

1. Regardless of whether you had them or not, can you remember three popular toys from when you were a child? Not really. I loved being outdoors and didn’t have toys as such.
2. Did you ever want something specific as a child, but never had it? Of course! I wanted a black and white pony with a red saddle.
3. Do you still have any toys or games from your childhood? No. I remember I had a small red rocking chair – kid size, but have no idea what happened to it.
4. I think I’ve asked this before, but what was your favourite toy as a child? My swing which hung from a big oak tree in my yard.
I am very grateful to be home and able to sleep in my own bed! I do miss the people at the rehab facility, but we all wanted to be home. I start PT with a home health person tomorrow…wish me luck!
