dVerse Poetics – Bottle

Originally housing a liquid sweet

Added to my coffee a sugary treat

All hail the delight of espresso syrup

Ones I like aren’t made in Europe

Then being a saver of every clear flaske

I wash and refill with water, my task

To recap and store in the cold

When used for drinking I am told

“It looks like vodka in that bottle”

Then we all settle in for a chortle.
