This week’s Story Starter teaser is: As she approached him, he dropped the gun on the sofa and told her he didn’t do it. “I know,” she said.
Joe was not the type to advocate violence. He didn’t even know how to load that gun with bullets. His wife on the other hand was an Army vet and knew more than she wanted to about guns and the damage they do.
Joe sunk down in the chair and said, “I just wanted to scare him away.” And that’s what he did…scare him, to death. The man lying in Joe’s driveway had a heart attack after seeing Joe come out of the house with the gun. The weakened health stranger was looking for help to change a flat tire.
