Everything looked beautiful as she walked into the small street. “Everyone takes such lovely care of the area here,” she offered to no one, and kept walking. At the opposite end of the street she could see another person, possibly a tourist or student. Eyes down turned to their cell phone, as most people do these days. She thought he must be used to this beauty, never glancing up, even as she passed by. She wondered if he took it for granted–the colors and flowers surround and as she stepped into the cafe, glanced back and smiled.
