Anyone know what this cabinet is used for? My only thought is potato storage. My daughters 1908 home came with this. It is a challenge to maintain the legacy of an old home, but we’re trying!

I thought it was a bread drawer, but what do I know?

Suze is right. You’ll also find similar drawers that were used for bread.

it is a root vegetable drawer. we have one here. My grandmother had two in her pantry. lovely things to own
