Almost everyone loved Harry. He always had a toothy grin and raised his hand with a sweet hello. Even on a stormy day, you would never pass by without seeing Harry’s smile and wave of greeting.
It was reported this morning that “renovations” were going to be made to the old icon. A few local unhappy passersby had hired scientists to determine if Harry was causing pollution in the surrounding waters. The findings were inconclusive. However, the louder disgruntled posed a lawsuit against Harry’s existence. As usually happens with a local election in view, the mayor succumbed and Harry was dismantled and removed.
Today, Harry’s fans visit the junkyard occasionally where Harry’s waving hand still greets them.
