I thought I’d sit, write about a life

Some of the things of interest

Thinking probably you could relate

I want to write only the simplest

Events for all of us come and go

Seem infinite at the time

The every day life may seem humdrum

We need to remember the sublime

My life experience: savor all

Gifts are yet to be received

So easy to stay in the present

Faith in the future should be believed.

I must say this is not an easy form of poetry for me. I think it’s awkward, but had to try it. 😉
