Remember the old Reader’s Digest magazines? I say old but looking on Google this is what I found. We used to get the Readers Digest when I was small and my dad’s favorite part was the “Laughter is the Best Medicine” section. This is the first issue cover:

We still get Readers Digests to this day — probably always will. Cousin always subscribes us (years, now!) but if/when that stops, we’ll probably pick it up ourselves. The magazine has shrunk quite a bit in the past few years.

My grand father kept all of his RD… He had a wall covered with the little magazines all sorted by dates…. I loooved reading them! Thanks for the reminder 🙂 xx

We never subscribed to Reader’s Digest but for some reason, I definitely remember that feature. I must have turned to it whenever I visited a friend’s house!

It was a great little magazine and being small enough to tuck into your pocket when my mom and dad took me fishing with them….😏
