The last day of April this Monday, and I must say I hope May comes in like a lamb tomorrow, we are pretty tired of the cold. Here are my answers to ceenphotography.com‘s questions above.
1. I rarely carry cash and it is a problem. I can’t run into an ATM anytime I would like. Having been a cashier at one time I do organize bills. If you have a good number of bills you display in public, I would suggest always keeping ones on the outside visible part. Flashing big bills is asking for trouble. I always carry quarters, an old habit before I had a cell phone, or for a grandchild’s needed ride on the mechanical horse outside the Safeway store.
2. I have to be comfortable with doing nothing some times, although rare because of modern technology. I guess the word “modern” went out in the eighties, but I still use it! Everyone, even me, has earbuds for use in horrid waiting rooms, or bus rides, to listen to music, play games, write emails. So that doesn’t qualify as nothing, but it seems unproductive. I have lots of unproductive time🙄😳😂
3. I would have to say my greatest strength is resilience, not really a choice, it just is.
This past week was a whirlwind of activity, mostly involving Jesse, the essay winner, and all the events surrounding him. Then soccer games, cold, but warmer than the week before. Cohen, being accepted by UNC and a scholarship pending. His sister is completing her second year there and it’s his parents’ alma mater. So fingers crossed, people, we need this.💙💛
