Tell Me Something Good -May 1, 2017

💐🌸🌺🌼🌷🌻🌹🥀Happy May Day🥀🌹🌻🌷🌼🌺🌸💐

When kids were little this day was so much fun.  We gathered all the wildflowers and made baskets for the neighbors and secretly put them in their front door.  I wish this was done today.  However, this tradition would not include my upstairs neighbors today.

For the past two weeks I have been wakened at four-thirty by the (I can’t imagine why anyone would do this) high heeled boots worn by said neighbor as she endlessly clomps around above my head.  Seriously, how long does it take you to dress and make your bed?  This morning after the usual quiet period between two and four-thirty a.m. I was amazed to find a half hour of sleep around five. The rule is to be relatively quiet from ten p.m. to eight a.m. They’ve been nonstop playing? since four-thirty.

I didn’t think it was possible to bounce a bowling ball on a carpeted bedroom floor, but apparently it is.

After much deep thought, I’ve made up my mind how to cure this.  I’m going to commit “Murder Most Fowl”!  Yes, a tainted KFC chicken delivery.

  1. When I first moved from Seattle to LA, I lived in an apartment. The single guy next door had his tv against my headboard on the other side. One night, I could stand it, I knocked on his door with my bathrobe on. Yes, either knock on the door or report them!

  2. Speak out, Cheryl! We have similar problems with a recently moved in downstairs neighbor who likes to relax after work by sharing their music. For a short stint, we’re willing to tolerate it. When it goes on for hours, it’s not acceptable. Speak out. 😉 xoM
