Response to the Daily Prompt: Value

Probably the things I value most are the relationships I have with family. I am very privileged to have part of my family near to me and have called on them a lot the last three years. Most of my family lives far from me. Lucky for them!  Actually, I just received the gift of my sister and four of her daughters visiting me. I had not seen them for many years. It was strange that her children I used to babysit, were so grownup, even grandmothers themselves. The value of renewal, the sisterly, and family bond became clear. It’s easy to take the closer family members, not for granted, really, but you know they’re always available. With the visit experience, I realized the value of their closeness even more.
