Jack’s discernment of the dulcet voice coming through the crowd caused an uncouth sliver of malicious thought and he followed the sound with a sagacious plan. The gathering was fairly small and as he reached her side, touched her elbow as if by mistake.
Jennie was a fine looking young woman with snowdrop skin and charcoal tinted hair. Her upturned face showed no reluctance in greeting Jack with a smile.
“Excuse me madam”, Jack offered, hoping his flashing blue eyes and matching uniform might cause Jennie to invite him to the balcony for a more private conversation. Jack followed her and as they reached the porch railing, Jennie suddenly turned and kissed him. The tables had turned and it was Jack’s turn to surrender.

“MY STARs!” Grandma shrieked as she came upoN the blOOdy scene. Apparently while an owl was eating a mouse, a fox ate the owl. Where the panther came from no one could imagine. But the real surprise was the bear who was finishing off the panther.
It was only when Grandpa heard the scream, came running out with his blunderbuss and sprayed shot over the entire scene that saved them both from the bear.

Thinking of my first love, it wouldn’t be the song that immediately came to mind, “Feel Like Makin Love” by Bad Company, but a more conservative version of the idea, as in “It Might as Well be Spring”.
My real love I realized when dancing to this song: “Scotch and Soda” by The Kingston Trio. I still remember that night, the dance, and the feelings.🥰

My favorite song about pets in general is from Disney’s “Lady and the Tramp” when two Siamese cats join the family. Basically my attitude about many cats😳😄
