Was that a knock? I had been fighting with my WordPress blog post all morning. I decided to take a break and settle back in my overstuffed wingback chair and enjoy a cup of herbal tea. I just sat back, started to relax, stopped thinking whether it was me, the iPad or WP itself. Everything jumped around and then a blank screen. Oh well, the tea worked great! I felt my muscles let go. . .
I must have drifted off, for what sounded like a knock woke me up. The light in the room had disappeared, but there was light coming from the opened door on the other side of the room. I looked around. Was this even my room? My home? I was floating; where was the chair I was sitting in?
My questions went unanswered as I seemed to mindlessly gravitate to the lighted door opening. I started panicking. Then I was pulled towards the door. That was scary!
Another sound brought me back to reality when I dropped my tea cup and it shattered on the wooden floor. It seemed I had returned to my own living room, my own favorite chair. I leaned down to clean the mess of the broken cup, and noticed the tea bag just laying there, and looked closely. I had bought the wrong mint tea!

Cold meatloaf sandwich, warmed up mashed potatoes and a few red vines. . .not exactly diet fare, but really, who cares? Five weeks of isolation getting to me? Probably. Took the trash, got the mail and most of it is already half filling another trash bag. Good news it is windy, but warm. No one outside except my favorite maintenance man I haven’t talked to in three months. It was great seeing a familiar six foot away face!😉 Stay well!

In typical fashion, our fearless leader has decided to take credit for anything good happening with the virus outbreak and none of the responsibility for his actions which have caused more and more deaths everyday.
The numbers are staggering and new facts are revealed every day showing how his response was a shrug off, a denial of its devastation, blaming it on democrats and fake news, a hoax, or anyone else. He continues to insight riots and promote violence against anyone but himself. If this was a novel, it would be so ridiculous no one would read it.
My talented friend in CO where we used to live, made and sent this to me, along with others to the rest of the family here. And with it, instructions on how to use it, what it will and will not do.
She is an amazing woman I’ve written about before on the blog and how nice of her to think of us. She is a teacher, seamstress, quilter, knitter, and lots more. She tutors in math and taught my grandkids the above skills. Thank you, Carol!💕

Isn’t dinner ready yet? I’ve been looking forward to that cold chicken fried spinach with a weleful attitude all day! You know eating more vegetables lately, I really needed to get that job done.
