The computer world to me is arcane
However, at my age, am I to blame?
I spent many hours learning shorthand and and typing
But now it is useless, everyone’s Skyping!
Penmanship was important, graded as such
Now everyone just texts, real words not so much
All the shortcuts and acronyms reign
Emojis giving inferences insane
I think I’m just an old sister
Who prefers an old fashioned vista.

In my intuitive world, I regress in an autonomous environment, alone, with no great thoughts of how to be. I cannot shine without the whole-ness of world surrounds.
I need the free, wild curve of others in actions and commiseration. I am only a lone satellite in darkness without their presence.

John Candy and Dan Ackroyd, a favorite comedy duo, made “The Great Outdoors” movie in 1988. I miss seeing them and sadly, John Candy passed away in 1994. They made many comedy films together and I enjoyed them all. My favorite scene is John being chased by a bear, but my advice is watch the movie and decide for yourself.

My open burrito/tostada/pizza/ meal today. Unshown lettuce tomato salad. I used small skinny flour tortillas and my burrito mix inside, topped too generously with cheese. Burrito mix is refried beans, salsa, shredded cheese, and finely chopped onions.
