Tuesday Writing Prompt Challenge 12-22-20

⛄️⛄️⛄️

It was not the usual Christmas weather, as cold winter rain was pouring down. All the kids were standing at the window crying as their snowman’s black eyes made from jelly beans ran down its face. The carrot nose stayed on the longest as a sturdy carrot should, but the red jelly bean smile turned into a frown.

Shopper’s Santa

Being a caring person, with a natural Santa Claus physique

We were all lucky to have him performing at his peak

He was so dedicated to his Christmas craft

He practiced his belly-cheer to make the children laugh.

42 Words – Apocalyptic

You could call it apocalyptic—the state of our government now. We have a sore loser whiner who wants nothing more than to incite violence and trouble, instead of being “steadying and holding together” as presidents should. The next thirty days’ actions dubious.

Any One of Us

“As a human being, I’m in the way, I’m a problem” – expresses the way I feel most of the time, and is one of the things said by a woman on this HBO/MAX show, named “Any one of us”.

So many things said are exactly how I feel–about why sometimes you just want your old life back, etc. but I don’t feel comfortable saying those things to my family. I don’t want them to be sorry for me. And of course I’m a lot older than the people in the video, so I can’t complain.

If you are in a wheelchair, or someone you live with is in a chair, or a friend, you need to watch this show. Beg, borrow or steal it, you need to watch it. This is the trailer:

MLMM Wordle #220 12-21-20

I put on my mittens, closed the fireplace doors, all ready for a trip to see light displays in the city, shows of frosted evergreen trees with bright red stars. We opened the windows causing a shiver to the snuggery inside the car.

The last Christmas display made the Griswold’s look miniature! On the way home we stopped by a coffee shop to enjoy a mug of cocoa.
