The stuttering was an expose no longer in a shelter
The boy could say a vowel fine but a consonant could not utter.
The parents, teachers, even help from a doc
Could not make this lonely boy feel free enough to talk.

A tall tale, an iffy yarn, told by grandpa out in the barn. The tale so tall it can’t be believed and grandma always mindful to retrieve, the real story that was true, so we’d stop dreaming, me and you. There’s something about a tale with no truth and you really know all that, even in your youth.

Sprinkled with color
Visited by butterflies
Bees briefly attend
Green stretches of soft grasses
Make for a welcome carpet

Each small boy had dreams quite heady
The humid air was thick and heavy
Summer heat and all hands sweaty
Batters’ legs looking so unsteady
The score board needed a jump
Or possibly a friendly ump
The bat rendered a rousing smack
A surprised batter’s smile did crack
First baseman caught the hit
The game was over just that quick.

For Fandango’s Friday Flashback:

Good morning from sunny Wyoming! I’m going out today to have some paperwork notarized…..yes, that’s the excitement for me today! My oldest grandson is moving into a rental home today from the resident firehouse, so the fam is busy!
Ceenphotography.com is ready for you to answer her questions, and here they are:

My answers are:
1. A favorite piece of clothing would be this turquoise cordoroy jumper my mom made for me. I’m in the front on the left:

2. A dancer, no question at all.
3. The driver. It’s one of the things I miss most out of being in a wc. It takes your independence away.
Bittersweet feelings on Saturday when this grandson graduated. He’s going to Casper this Friday for orientation and leaving in August for college there. Boohoo! I’m going to miss him!

In my diligent pursuit of victory, my doctor called, worried about my degraded condition from what was thought to be bronchitis, and is now pneumonia. I am on a second bout of steroids as a fixer-upper after an extra antibiotic injection plus tablets and now supplied a new cough expectorant.
My concern is the first ingredient: bitter mask. I’ve never liked cherry flavored anything and if this flavor is already covered by the bitterness mask, I would hate to think what it really tastes like!
I was charmed by the doc as she explained when you are older it takes longer to recover. But I can see a light at the end of this month long siege of illness.

Save me from the erring struggle singing their direction was ordered in heaven. I hear the tune of corrosion in retaliation remarks as these false warriors elbow their way onto a congressional floor. There must be someone else to stop this insurrection. Where are their voices?
