Where can he be? I told him it started at two! I just know this is the one, I just know it! Harry took out his cell phone and called his buddy, Joe. Receiving no answer, he texted Joe, looking at the paper again.

Yes, there it was, his golden ticket. . .third race at “Lose Your Money Downs” a train ride away. Harry needed Joe to bring the rest of the money. It was no coincidence, Harry went over and over it since last night, reading the racing section to see if any horses met his criteria for a sure thing. He called Joe to tell him the good news and to bring the rest of the loot from the robbery. He knew this would be it, just like the last robbery was the last job.

Harry finally saw Joe running up the street from the train platform. However, Joe had no bag with him. “Where’s the money?” Harry yelled, he was so anxious.

“You’re not gonna believe it, I was just robbed. . .course, I can’t tell the police.”

“You’re right, I don’t believe it.”

Another day in the life of two losers.

Have you ever watched a long-running televised series from start to finish, and once you have reached the end, you wanted to watch it again or is once enough for you and time for a new long-running series? I’ve done that for a few, some have been: Friday Night Lights, ER, Mash, Game of Thrones, Daredevil and all related series, PBS – all, Golden Girls, The Dick Van Dyke Show, New Amsterdam, The Good Doctor, Saving Grace, Warehouse 13, just to name a few. 😀When it’s hard to find something new I rewatch old stuff.

Do you think traditions are essential to society – if so, why and if not, why not? It was hard to keep old traditions going when Covid struck and even now family grows up and moves or goes to college, etc. You have to work at it!

What would be easier to throw away, deep love or deeply lined rich pockets? Flip side: can money buy love? I doubt anyone would throw away deep love. And no money can buy real love. No jokes today…☺️

Probably the most stressful time in the last ten years was when my husband was dying in a hospital in Denver and I couldn’t be there. I had grandkids who helped me.

I wouldn’t mind sitting on the beach in Oahu.

I’m not good at accepting it even though I might want it.

It’s all good…grandkids’ fave.

I like it quiet.
