Six Sentence Story

Pink soft edged, no lace. This is the way of her true face. No extra added complements needed. Fresh clean skin always heeded. Attention to detail was always her choice. She let visions seen by him be her voice.

Rory’s Morning Dawdler

1. A typical day for me would be: Snapchat my grandkids, shower, coffee, play crosswords with my sister, read emails, write and read blogs, listen to an audible book and after dinner, watch a couple of hours of tv. In between cleaning and laundry and household chores of course😂.
2. I have no access to my old blogs except on my old android phone that sometimes works—WP doesn’t give me that access. Idk why. If I try to find something for Fandango’s FBF I see some that have a bunch of likes—usually not the ones I like😳😂.
3. Of course, don’t we all?🤪. Actually, I see it as “1984”’s Big Brother.🤯

The Sunday Whirl

Julie entered the broken church after the fire bomb had stopped shaking the building. She absently thought that “the powers that be” could and should have prevented this. That was her normal train of thought these days, that the hand of fate had taken over and any normal activity was gone.

Everything in the main room was blackened, even the star shaped ceiling mural above the dias was ruined. No more music would come from the ancient organ in the corner, and it was the firefighters’ call that the entire building would eventually be condemned. She wondered if the arsonist was going to be found and put on trial, but she doubted it. It seemed guilty people got away with everything today.

A2Z Challenge 2023 (From two blogger’s perspective)

“The Blogging from A to Z is a challenge that starts beginning in April and your first post is supposed to use the letter A which will start on April 1st and continue every day thereafter except on Sundays, however since this year we will have 5 Sundays in April, you will need to create a post for the last Sunday. You need to come up with a themed topic on something where you will be able to use every letter in the alphabet. Once you write about your topic with the letter A, then you will continue on to your topic that uses the letter B as the theme, and so on until you finish on April thirtieth with the theme based on the letterZ. Simply put, you post every day in April (except Sundays), and follow the alphabet. Some special days proceed this challenge, being March 12- 18 where you are supposed to post your Theme Reveal and the Master List sign-up starts on March 26.”
https://mindlovemiserysmenagerie.wordpress.com/2023/03/10/26-letters/

See how easy it is. You don’t have to change your format of what you normally write, just come up with topics that correspond with the letter of the day. I printed out a calendar grid for the month of April and x’ed out the Sundays and wrote the letters in each of the daily squares. In less than an hour I came up with all of my topics for each letter. And I can change them if I want to. It’s fun just filling in the 26 topics and imagining the possibilities. https://fromcavewalls.wordpress.com/2023/03/12/blogging-atozchallenge-2023-theme-reveal/

I have no idea what theme I would pick. I don’t like to be confined to one topic😂. Check out the above blog sites for more info.

3TC – Life in the Ghetto

Floating on the waves of day dreams of sailing, teenage Joe was woken by his mother’s yelling a gripe about the trash. His dad was a miner and worked long hours, so most “manly” chores fell to Joe. His mom worked early mornings at a bakery shop so between their two jobs, Joe didn’t have a lot of family time. Joe’s life was not an irregular one in his neighborhood. All parents and most of their teenage kids had at least one job.
