Vacation?🙄

The bucolic setting did not classify as one of her favorite vacation spots. She sat back in the car dreading the destination and fell into a pit of doldrums. “I mean, Jeffrey, what were you thinking?”is what she wanted to blurt out but kept the criticism to herself. They pulled up to the structure, barely qualifying as a cabin, and then she stepped out only to be nibbled on the ankle by some sort of lizard. She screamed and pulled her foot up quickly losing her balance. Luckily Jeff was right behind her and scooped her up. “Is that slime on my leg as she felt down to feel a bit of liquid on her ankle.

“”Probably,” Jeff laughed, “it’s just tasting you. At least it wasn’t a poisonous snake!” His joking manner did not please her and she scrambled out of his grasp, and ran into the cabin. Jeff followed, still chuckling and spied her on the bed with covers pulled up all around her.

“How soon can we go home?”

MLMM Wordle – Utopia

They stood in front of the gateway, the sign above read “Sat Nam” which meant I am truth. Of course skepticism was rampant these days, but everyone, even secretly, wanted to get on the sailboat of truths. It seemed the lid was off for all opinions, spoken loudly and with small strains of conviction. Many people closed off the media, the news, the dry statements of supposed facts inked in every form. The choice to close yourself off from the salt poured into wounds of hoped for truths, and deciding to quietly sulk.

1. What is your idea of a good holiday? Seeing the sights, lazing on a beach, hitting the night spots, getting away from it all………………. Seeing the lights is great and the very best of course is family all around playing games, laughing and talking.

2. You are offered tickets to a show. Which would you prefer, Opera, Play, Cinema, Entertainment, Ice Gala, something else? I go with Sadje, a movie.

3. Have you ever won a sports trophy (or something similar for a particular achievement) Ok, just spilled my coffee laughing.

4. What is your dream car (fact or fictional) No question, 1966 Mustang❤️

The Sunday Whirl

The beam of sunlight created shadows on the table cover, showing the myriad of lists she complied. Meandering through the rooms, peering into secret hollows, she was looking for clues. In Mark’s room she found a box of odd tricks he gathered from magic shops and decided that would steer her in the perfect direction for his gift. Every holiday season she made the lists, not counting on the gods to help, she scoured every room and plunged into the work of finding the very best gift for each child. She also decided on separate paper and trims for each individual’s taste. Gifts were her specialty from lists started the first day of the new year.

Shakespeare in the Park

The crown of the play’s junket was the twilight performance in the open park setting in New York. The Shakespearean farce “Comedy of Errors”—a delightful show in which well known celebrities perform.
