One-Liner Wednesday – Thunder

fence cracks wavering
hurricanes, floods, tornadoes
damages are clear

Crimson’s Creative Challenge #093

I had some ideas right at the start
Block is easy and I’m so smart
Then reading further a mental block?
I dressed, put on my shoes and socks.
Hmm, it simmered up there under my mane
That small place
Lots of empty space…my brain
I started walking, you guessed it…
Down the block
Hoping a new idea came from old stock
But realized quickly I had to succumb
Mental block! Brain flashes “empty!”
I’m afraid it’s numb!

Fandango’s Story Starter #253

Joe was late, again. These appointments are a pain in the neck! How can a young woman sitting there in her fancy Bloomingdale’s suit and Jimmy Choo shoes possibly relate to me and my life? After Afghanistan, I came home broken, I admit, but this woman has never been there, or in any military service, so how can she know what it’s like? But today I’m going to the VA, showing up soaking wet, but at least I’ll be seeing a real veteran!

Simply 6 Minutes – Welcome to the Challenge: 06/30/2026

“Change a comin’.”
An old song.
The words are clear.
Easy to join, singing along.
A hopeful refrain.
Sam Cooke said it well.
Wrote these words while in a cell.
Watch or read or sing it, and tell.

Colleen, this is all “Greek to me”. I assume my old (since 2016) form will still work?
WordPress Updates for the Classic Block

When they all rush to show concern, drop you off at the home, the elderly companions know you halt to roam. The winter day, the box of your place, the heat turned up, hest occupants won’t complain of too chilly a space. Helpers work never done, the old ones dug in, imagine the nurses provide what they can.
