Share Your World 8-19-19

1. Overpopulation is a problem and my family has disagreeing opinions on this subject. Since my attitude is basically live and let live I would not presume to tell anyone what to do. The earth itself is fast deciding how long we have to enjoy it.

2. Pollution is all around us, some invisible to us. Maybe if it was more visible, we would take better care of how we treat the air.

3. The most ridiculous fact I know? Trump still resides in the Whitehouse.

4. I live in an apartment, retired. Rules are strict in this complex. Effecting me are no flag flying, nothing on 8×8′ patio except gas grill or chairs, quiet between 10pm and 8am, and pool rules are ridiculously strict. A rule I would like to see enforced is, pick up after your pets.

5. I had pineapple on pizza once, it was okay.

6. Over. . .of course!🤪

7. My favorite cheese is Cabot extra sharp white cheese. I love most cheeses, unfortunately.

Gratitude: Easy for me this week, finding I only have precancerous polyps that were removed, instead of full blown colon cancer. I was very worried about this, but now relieved for another six months. I have much more to be grateful for, especially the love, care, and concern of my family.

I should have just walked away. Sometimes that is what’s needed to be effective. The whole donnybrook started as he dared the smallest in the group to climb up the escarpment and dangle his legs over. It was hard to watch as the boy pushed his legs up the cliff, seemingly tiny hands reaching for an open slot in the rocks.

Admittedly, I felt more power to him, he had grit, even at his age. I think I would have been a more successful guide if I didn’t fling a hateful look at the instructor, starting a heated discussion. The result would have been the same, the instructor’s command still obeyed, but at least I let my feelings be known. What went on inside the wheel of this leader’s brain I knew not, but I still think the challenge was too dangerous.

Rupert noticed another new head lined up in the window. “I’m no expert, but some of those wigs look like dried spaghetti! Where did you purchase that last one, it’s ragged?”

“I know you’re not an advocate of wearing wigs, but I have to be versatile! Wearing different wigs promotes me as a model. You remember my job. . .being a model, bringing in our income, allowing us to pay rent, eat food, and drink wine?”

“Uh. . .you made your point. I must have forgotten the hierarchy in our. . .arrangement.”

“Arrangement? Well!”
