When reliving the past
Pain induced needing a fix would last
With recommended Fentanyl
Increasing doses to cure the ill
Hours, days, driving me insane
Increased use never stopped the pain
Addiction resulted with no cure
Never use even if it seems to allure.

A dream of mine, so sublime
Spending my time
Reading rhymes
In the comfort if you please
By a stream, surrounding trees
When tired from this happy mire
Follow a well worn path
To my cabin sanctuary, welcoming as in the past.

I’m sharing a tv series today I enjoy on Prime named “Warehouse 13”. It has interesting, funny characters, and unusual situations involving a secret warehouse full of magical and strange artifacts.

Blinking eyes
Holding tears
Nose filling
Face reddens
Tears flow free
Mouth speaks broken words
Placing flag
Kneeling by the stone
Visions remembered
Regrets revealed
Turning away
Returning home.

When he found “the one”, she wouldn’t have him!

He thought he would die as the droplets of sweat fell onto his light blue shirt. She chose to meet at the dance and now she would see how the dance was causing him to breathe heavily and perspire profusely. The dance, not intimidating for most, found him ignorant of the robust polka.
The band seemed at liberty to exhaust the crowd, playing one fast paced dance after another. The distance between him holding her and the other couples completely killed any idea of remaining shy. He tried to appear adept at the quick step dance and not appear a loser.

The sickness grows
And no one knows
It doesn’t show
On the outside

Should have been warned
Masks being worn
Now we’re forlorn
And stay inside

Blame failed leaders
They aren’t readers
They’re chest beaters
While more souls die
