A day late and a dollar short…I had never heard of cheese and pickle sandwiches until I started watching “Endeavour” on PBS’ Masterpiece Theater. Then watching the new series, “All Creatures Great and Small” I see the first episode has a c and p sandwich also. I think I’ll try it one😊

It had been gnawing at him a while. Now days after her operation, still he had not visited her in the hospital. He decided to write a goodbye letter, for he could not say it face to face, especially now.

Sitting in a blank space he tried to think of a way to tell her he simply couldn’t be with her. He thought they’d be together forever, but now had unending doubts. In her condition, this wasn’t his dream of happiness any longer.

Writing three words, unsigned, was his choice. It was his fault and he couldn’t face the guilt.
