I grew up eating from a vegetable garden full of what some you probably don’t like, but I still love:

Spinach, greens of any kind, beets, potatoes, peas, carrots, corn, sweet potatoes, green beans, pole beans, any kind of beans, really, lettuce varieties, tomatoes, all types, peppers, turnips, squash, all kinds, cauliflower, parsnips, radishes, Brussels sprouts, cabbages, cucumbers, zucchini, broccoli, celery, asparagus, and probably others I don’t remember. Any of these your favorites?

We have 42 days to the Democratic convention and 119 days to the general election. Any weakening of resolve or lack of clarity about the task ahead only helps Trump and hurts us.”

Hey, I see you staring at me, and no, I am not a bat! From your angle I guess that’s a fair assumption…I am an Aye Aye and of course you are wondering with my big beautiful green eyes why was I not named EyeEye instead. Along with my eyes I have long fingers and hardly ever point them at anyone because the middle one is much longer than the rest. It’s for catching grubs and retrieving juicy larvae out of tree trunks. I see you turning up your nose in disgust, but what can I say, we all gotta do what we all gotta do…forgive the platitude, or not. You see I am a sensitive creature after all. But I do have long teeth and I do bite, just sayin…

Quadrille #203: Feeling Crabby

Reading the provisions on the paper contact, because it indeed was a contract, a business arrangement recorded in an unattractive form, Sara decided she had to sign because this was an emergency. Feeling feeble after, devoid of pride, but facing reality, was now secure. Her too long hour visit with the lawyers and her previous husband, was done. She had to settle on the logic of having the keys to her and her children’s well being.
