MLMM Bonus Wordle- H

He had a hunch this was the way it would happen. All human foibles considered, it was inevitable. Standing in the crowd, listening to the hastily prepared hem and haw of the political figure, appearing after the havoc ensued to give the “heavy burden” speech.

This hemlock of condolence was only a husk covering an opportunity to once again hijack the true sympathy of the crowd into another rally for his own benefit. Hitch your wagon to such a sincere human and ignore the hyphenated hellbox.

Movie Monday

Since it’s November, maybe you’re travelling for the holidays, I recommend the best Thanksgiving movie ever: “Planes, Trains and Automobiles”. John Candy and Steve Martin at their best. I still laugh out loud at some scenes, you know the ones….the trailers available aren’t great but the movie is.

“Easily excitable Neal Page (Steve Martin) is somewhat of a control freak. Trying to get home to Chicago to spend Thanksgiving with his wife (Laila Robins) and kids, his flight is rerouted to a distant city in Kansas because of a freak snowstorm, and his sanity begins to fray. Worse yet, he is forced to bunk up with talkative Del Griffith (John Candy), whom he finds extremely annoying. Together they must overcome the insanity of holiday travel to reach their intended destination.”

The Haunted Wordsmith Daily Prompts – 11-4-18

What? Kids again? Ewww…those little grubby hands swishing around in my water is bad enough! We have children peering into our pool, trying to touch us while we’re swimming around avoiding them, with who knows what on their fingers?

But this? Aquarium gold members are now encouraged to let kids swim with us? This is taking donation encouragement too far! I’ve had it. I’m outta here!

MLMM Saturday Mix 11-3-18

I admit it. I wanted his attention, that is why I chose the bright red frock. I kept it hidden in the back of my closet for an occasion like this. I knew right away it was the right one to gander his attention and renew those feelings of warmth for me once more. The red was always his favorite and began many a night of passion ending up in sweat drenched sheets the next morning.

Donning the red gown, I was filled with anticipation as I entered the living room. It had been too long since he looked as if he wanted to devour me.

He turned from his desk and glanced, then really looked at me in the red splendor. There would be no more blogging tonight.
