SYW 8-25-25

Here are this week’s questions:

Would you consider yourself creative (writing, projects, hobbies etc). Yes

What is the ‘bravest’ thing you think you have ever done (faced a fear, stood up for someone/something, etc) Gave a speech at the CO PTA convention

If you were to come into a substantial amount of money, what would you do with it?Pay off debt, and then split among my kids.

If you could change something that has been annoying you, what would that be? I would be able to drive.

Gratitude. I am grateful that my granddaughter will be starting regular classes today and helped win their last two soccer games. Go Yellowjackets💚💛!

Sunday Poser

This is a very hard question and probably every one of us has a different answer based on how they were taught and how they taught their own children. I think my answer would be to learn respect for each other and that includes everything from their toys to their bodies. A loving hand or soft voice usually gets better results than the opposite. From an infants point of view, probably love, cuddles, etc is wanted and needed.

I know I’m no angel but need help to finish. Where angels are nothing more than whispers, wearing leather jackets to hide their wings, looking like just another angel goin south for the winter, I can fit in. LoAngel of mercy I’m trying to write, as angels write, but devils must print. So there’s the rub. Philosophy will clip an angel’s wings, so in heaven, an angel is nobody in particular, and even angels can be tempted. Please hear my plea, I overthought my destiny. I am an angel in disguise, not fearful or wise. I thought I could write a story here, but the length of the prompts is too severe. I must admit I am your angel and find myself unfit for the task. At least now you’ll see under my mask.

It may be a virus causing you to quaver

It lingers like a veiled prey on your voice

Rugged healthy men rely on written papers

Every note that’s written they read, their choice

Communication when ill with this is no favor

No given name, just a dance on your chords

Germs want to show off, wish to be on a runway

Allowing their varied bag of ills to play.
