I wish there was a surge,
where all constituents merge,
save the country, even save themselves.
If it happened it would serve
them all and justice preserved.
Now we’re all so divided,
ideas constantly collided,
with violence
and never silenced,
hatred and our beloved country baited.
Other factions see our failure
to reign in the behavior
of a crazy man
doing what he can
and they make a plan.
Start a war for no apparent reason,
congress ignores this treason,
and the other factions reign.
Why can’t we see what is so plain?
