After numerous attempts to keep the long version from supper’s dining experience, Joe gave in and let his little sister speak. There was no danger in her looking into the mystery at Sandy’s Point. The sugar cane property was practically destroyed by the fire, and her idea of gearing up to explore was pretty harmless. Being a firefighter, she knew how to be safe.
