Muted lights filled the walkways when at midnight, the abandoned amusement park came alive. Soft accordion music rang through the booths of games that opened their shuttered curtains, and small people ran to play. The workers of the daily booths let their children play at will, no fees paid. It seemed a happy atmosphere until early morning when once again the booths closed, shutters down and locked, resting till the park opened at ten in the morning.
