A vow sometimes is easily broken. Marriage vows spoken in earnest at the time result in fifty percent failure. Joe was determined not to be in that percentile. He followed every vow and loved his wife immensely. His wife felt differently. She felt Joe was too perfect a husband.

  1. Little Suzie takes a vow, and Robert duly takes a bow. That’s how they are be-wed.
    In blissful haze they spend their days, in different ways, in bed.
    Their favourite tune, the honeymoon, sometime soon must end.
    Their romance cold, they both grow old, and neither can pretend, that love won’t cry, that love won’t die, that’s why there is divorce.
    He takes the car, goes to a bar.
    She takes the house, of course.
