It was automatic that whenever Joe introduced a new game, it was obvious he had practiced it to the point of pain! Even though we all loved Joe, he took pleasure in trying to annoy the rest of us thinking his happy winning mood should reflect on us. John decided he had enough and chose to attack stubborn Joe with his own set of rules. As we gathered for another game night, we were excited to see the funny looks on Joe’s face as he was “overruled”!
Ha! This sounds like my Dad. We were playing Scrabble and he put down this weird word that we all challenged. He went to get the dictionary (house rules, house dictionary and if the word is in there, it’s allowed). He came back and proudly showed us a new entry in pencil on the bottom of an S page which showed his word and the meaning ‘the art of cheating at Scrabble’. We let him off for his cheek! Love this take Cheryl. Thanks for joining in.
